Recently someone I sent some songs to said "..thanks for the great music we really enjoyed it...it's HAPPY! " This is a great description. Apart from trying to include a positive and hopeful message, the music is probably "happy" because much of what I write includes healthy doses of world rhythms which are usually quite infectious and generally make for a happy sound. That's why I have always been drawn to these rhythms. They make you feel good! Hopefully the music will have you end up agreeing with the godfather of soul James Brown and saying, "I feel good I knew that I would...HEY!!"

So for lack of a better term I call this music "world pop". You might even call it "country music" in the broader sense. It has musical elements from countries all over the world :>). Hey it's free so what have you got to lose?!? If you don't like it it will be over in a couple of minutes and you can always right click and delete.
